How To Set Up a ReachFactor Account

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

ReachFactor serves both Real Estate Agents and Consumers that are looking to buy or sell a property.

For Agents - Today's real estate market is the most challenging market we have seen in decades. In the past, all an agent had to do was sit back and wait for customers to come to them.

This simply does not work anymore.

Today , in order to achieve success, agents must be proactive. Agents need to use every tool at their disposal to find customers. You must develop a good marketing strategy, which basically means going where the customer are. According to Facebook, they have about 800 million users, which spend an average of 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook. Social Bakers gives statistics on Facebook around the world and also includes statistics on other social sites.

Since social sites are where the customers are, this is where you need to be. ReachFactor allows you to link to your FaceBook business page. Then make all of your listings and Customer Reviews available for Facebook users to see. You can also;

For Customers - In the past, if you wanted to find a good Real Estate Argent, your choices were pretty limited. You either had to shop around endlessly hoping to run across a good agent, or ask friends or family for a recommendation. Finding a good agent to buy or sell your property was like playing Roulette. Sometimes you got lucky and found a good agent and sometimes you didn't.

With ReachFactor, customers finally have a good reliable place where they can research Real Estate Agents. You can see information on agents in your area, read reviews from real customers (Look for the ones that have been verified), and find out how active, or inactive, they are.

When you log-in, you'll notice the application has a new look, and some new features:

  • Ability to connect with other agents with whom you work to showcase your local network strength (this is one networking product that will help you actually connect with consumers)
  • Easier access to Craigslist fliers and posting
  • Streamlined way to add listings
  • An Activity tab keeps a record of all the activity you're generating (showings, open houses, tours, client reviews, etc) and displays them to consumers

  • When you use our Check-ins feature, now you'll be prominently displayed on property pages for homes that you've checked into (see below).  You'll be highlighted as an agent whose been active recently at the listing, along with a quick snapshot of all your activity.
  • Each property page comes with new social share features, including Google +1, Facebook Like, and Facebook Send buttons (we noticed that 25% of all actions on property pages were "Send-to-Friend")

  • Active agents form marketing networks with other local agents. Consumers look for these local syndicates because they know strong syndicates get deals done quickly. Now you can bring your syndicate online to show that you're an agent who has the reach to get deals done quickly. Your Syndicate Strength will now become a prominent feature of your ReachFactor presence. If you're a listing agent this feature should help you gain substantially more listings.
  • Prospective Buyers and Sellers can get a feel for your Syndicate Strength at a quick glance as shown below.

Check Ins v1.0 is here!

Get some credit for all your hard work. ReachFactor has just launched Check Ins, a new feature to help you showcase how active you've been to buyer and seller prospects. All Check Ins will show up in an 'activity feed' on your ReachFactor profile to prospective buyers and sellers.

How does it work?

A "Check In" is a record of your visit to any property in ReachFactor's database. Every time you hold a showing of one of your listings be sure to "Check In" using your cell phone. A record of this showing is then recorded on your ReachFactor profile for buyers & sellers to see.

Distinguish yourself without any extra work

Agent profiles on ReachFactor are viewed by thousands of prospective buyers and sellers every month. These prospects really want to get a sense for what others have said about you and how active you are. When you display Check Ins you leave a record of actual activity distinguishing you from your competition.

Imagine it this way:

You've done 30 showings this week alone. That's a lot of work. You know that most agents in your neighborhood are probably not even 1/2 as active. The problem is that consumers don't know this. On the surface, a part-time agent and you appear to put in the same amount of effort. You're all sales associates after all. How unfair is that?!

A Check In is a factual record of a visit to a property from a cell phone. An agent who is not active will never have Check Ins and there's no way to fake it. This is a way for you to instantly distinguish yourself from them.

How do I start?

Check Ins are free for all ReachFactor customers.

  1. Using your iPhone, Android, or Blackberry go to http://my.reachfactor.com/users/sign_in and login to your account.
  2. You should immediately arrive at the ReachFactor Check In service. (you may get a prompt asking whether to allow ReachFactor to track your location. click "YES"). ReachFactor will automatically geolocate where you are and determine if you happen to be at or near your listing (within a 2 mile radius).
  3. If you're at a property click on its address. You'll be shown different Activity Types to help you quickly give context to the Check In. For example, you can click Showing if you're showing the home or Tour if you're on a Broker Tour. Click Submit when you're done.
  4. Congratulations, you've just recorded a Check In.

More to come..

We launched Check Ins to give active agents a reputation boost and to help consumers really find the right agent for them.

This is just version 1.0. There's a lot more coming soon. We'll keep you updated. If you have feedback please email it to support@reachfactor.com
